Why people fall of their New Year’s resolution?
It is about to be that time of year. Where millions of Americans get all motivated, state they are going to make change in their life, whether it be financial freedom, healthy lifestyle changes and more. Whatever it may be, January 1st is a new year so it means a NEW YOU! Before January 1st comes along you start thinking about what your New Year's resolution is going to be. You do not think hard enough, plan it well and by the time you blink it is January 1st. Therefore you go into this “new lifestyle change” not super confident from the start. You stick it haphazardly for 10 days. After the tenth day is up you feel overwhelmed, discouraged you are not making progress or as if this will be a waste of time. Your goals were not the clearest from the start so you begin to question them. The 11th day comes and you are off the New Year’s resolution change and back to old habits and your old ways.
People, this literally happens to 92% of people every year. A study from 2018 found that ROUGHLY 8% of people stick to their New Year’s resolution/goals. The percentage of New Year’s resolutions centered around health and fitness? Nearly fifty-five percent. That is more than half of the world making New Year’s resolutions centered around fitness and health. And only 8% of people even achieve those goals or stick to them.
